Is Altair Enterprise native web CMMS software?

Yes. Unlike some software packages that have evolved towards the web, Altair was developed entirely for the web from the outset. No software is needed to administer, configure or use advanced functions: everything is done using the browser.

However, mobile applications, which allow data to be downloaded and stored locally for access even without a network, require a local installation.

Does Altair Enterprise need to be installed on user workstations?

No. The CMMS is only installed on a central server. This server can be managed by you, or hosted in our private Cloud (SaaS)

Once that has been done, your users can connect to it using their usual web browser from any workstation connected to the server.

Is access to CMMS data secure?

Yes. Each user group has its own access rights. You can also restrict access to certain data for specific users: for example, if you want to open access to your CMMS to your maintenance contractors, you can restrict access work order access to their own work orders only.

Depending on the offer and the deployment type, data backups can be secured at different levels, and connection security can be reinforced (HTTPS).

Is it possible to use Altair Enterprise using a secure connection?

Yes. Altair Enterprise is a Web application and access to it can be secured: HTTPS, VPN…

We can help you set up the necessary configuration for your network infrastructure.

My users are mobile and have laptops. Can they connect to Altair Enterprise?

Yes. Depending on the infrastructure configuration, Altair Enterprise is available via ADSL, Fibre or any operator’s 3G/4G network.

Furthermore, the Mobile CMMS application features synchronisation tools so your technicians can carry on using Altair Enterprise even without network coverage.

We already have an ERP, Supervision, CRM... can they communicate with Altair Enterprise?

Yes. We have several methods for integrating data from third-party software (ERP, stock management, accounting software, CRM, supervision, HR, etc.).

Is Altair Enterprise LDAP compatible?

Yes. Using Altair Enterprise, you can synchronise your LDAP users with the user database.

Is it possible to use our existing data (Excel files for example)?

Yes. Altair Enterprise has an optional data loading module to import and export database data. This means you can import new data or integrate data from other existing software.

We are an international company. Does Altair Enterprise support several languages?

Yes. Altair Enterprise is multilingual! Contact us to find out which languages are available, and those that can be added to order.

You can define a default language per site to allow site users to use Altair Enterprise in their own language.

Can Altair Enterprise CMMS be configured?

Yes. Altair Enterprise CMMS software has been designed to meet the needs of as many businesses as possible.

We know that your specific needs may require some adjustments to the product, which is why you can modify the supplied standard screens yourself and/or create new ones.

Labels and value lists can also be configured.

How many simultaneous users can Altair Enterprise support?

The number of users is virtually unlimited. The server configuration may need to be adjusted as required.
